Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Trump Teathered Crop has recently been lifemated with Studebaker, a Water dragon many years his senior.  Studebaker was the first dragon in her clan to be raised to adulthood by her parents, and the sixth female to be added to the clan.  When Trump hatched, the clan's cave was already populated with nearly seventy dragons of various breeds.  He grew up knowing Studebaker, who is young at heart and unknowingly disguised her age from Trump.  After the couple produced an egg, Trump was unpleasantly surprised by one of Studebaker's previous mates, Elvis Presley (a Silver dragon, not a rock and roll star), who told him of the Water dragon's seniority.

Trump was flustered, but Studebaker took it in stride, and she and Trump have since developed a very close bond.  Shortly afterward, they made an agreement to become lifemates.
