When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ichibousenri, or Senri-chan as she is called by many of the elder dragons, was named for the boundless ocean that she explores. Senri is rarely seen in the small artificial lake dug by Feanir, since she spends most of her time scouting out potential members for the clan in distant lands that are connected by river ways and the great ocean.<br/>When she is home, you can usually see her speaking somberly to her former mate Haikagura. Ever since the death of her first egg, she rarely shows any emotion at all. She has sworn off ever producing another clutch, for fear of having to see them die at the hands of a negligent clan once again. For a while, she was pursued by Doshaburi, but she did not care for his disrespectful attitude towards her first mate, and has since stopped speaking to the elder skywing.
