Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Butter adores hatchlings and not just those of her own breed. Since her own hatching, she has rarely left the hatchling keep. Her natural exuberant playfulness makes her equally loved by the youngsters that she looks after, and they often follow her into all manner of mischievous shenanigans, much to the chagrin of the more stodgy clan members. Nevertheless, she does manage to be responsible, and more than once has nixed an adventuresome idea that could easily have gone badly.

Besides Rooibos, her mate, Butter particularly enjoys the company of Wuffle, a large Pillow who also spends most of his time with the hatchlings. Though other adult dragons also dedicate time to teaching and rearing the youngsters, Wuffle and Butter have become the primary caregivers for the littlest members of the clan.
