Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

And in the light there is no movement. But slowly as night falls across the world Fasai awakens, his wings spreading, long and elegant, reaching to encompass the entire world. Fasai is big, power radiates from within him and a glance it his fiery red eyes is enough to send others of his own kind moving away from him. Proud, reckless and endlessly fierce Fasai's ability to act before thinking knows no bounds. When darkness descends over the world it is his time to rule, and he will, he will fly across the skies, his big form a dark, dangerous shadow in the night. Fasai is foolishly brave, he believes highly of himself and he believes with all his heart that there is no better dragon then he. He is willing to test that theory and will not stand for anyone challenging him. Silent and deadly, Fasai is skilled when it comes to the hunt, limited by his massive size he is still agile and very fast. He is after all the darkness to the night, the shadow that strikes when you least expect it.
