Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The second addition to the clan was Erynne.  She hatched soon after Lucius, and like all the rest of the clan, gets along well with the stone.  Erynne spends most of her time in the Clan Cave.  She leaves only occasionally to hunt, for her mate Meech eats only plants.  Other than than those times, she is curled up in the cave, filling the mind of nearby family with chatter about things such as beauty, innocence, and kindness.  It can be both very soothing and intensely irritating.  Elegant and graceful, Erynne is fair but not much of fighter.  With a stone dragon adoptive sister that is more than twice her size guarding the cave, there isn't much point anyway.  Her bright pink scales glitter in the light and her thin horns curl over her head with an enchanting effect.  Her eyes, a pale shade of violet-blue, shine with enthusiasm if she gets animated in a mental conversation.  Her favorite place in the cave is a crescent of stalagmites in which she curls up, comfortable and content.
