Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The first dragon Max had hatched, he is highly respected. He has been sad for a very long time, because he had many brothers and sisters who failed to see daylight, and only he hatched. He tried to play with them, but they didn't respond. "Hey, wake up guys!" he said over and over, attempting to play with them. "C'mon, play! Stop sitting there." He started to walk toward one of them, and place a hoof on them, one at a time. Then, he started to whine and attempted to warm their freezing bodies, but it failed. He now tries to help all the hatchlings max finds, and is trying his best to keep the ones now alive, and he is happy that he now has brothers and sisters, and has fun playing with them.
