Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mistrain is the leader of the ferocious Slashclaw clan, a rival to the Supernovas. She gained leadership of the clan after the founder, a male named Slashclaw, lost his strength and status after many years of fighting in the field. She is wily and cunning yet a cruel and oppressive slave driver, pushing her subordinates to any end but barely taking any share in the work, unlike her rival Tamira Brightwing. She keeps an unbreakable iron grip on her clan, brutally punishing any who dare stand up to her. Many dragons have challenged her for leadership, and many dragons have failed.

Slashclaw brought to his group all of his long years of violence and bloodshed, and it seems that this fearsome leader will do the same. There is no one in her group that can stop her- and few outside that can.
