When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Nessie Streamglider was not always a loner. Once upon a time, she was perhaps the most energetic dragonet in the whole region! Nessie was always scurrying around the menagerie, causing nothing but mischief. Servire, a Lacula Dragon, could be seen assisting her in causing chaos. Unfortunately, that dragon is long gone. Nessie and Servire had planned on living a happy life on Mt. Monsoon. After growing into her adult stage, Nessie had to leave to live in the lakes near the foot of the mountain. Servire was left to take care of their one egg. The sorrow has taken its toll, as Nessie no longer interacts with fellow dragons. Although, she occasionally creates an audible splash in the waters to remind her loved one that she'll always be there.
