Failed attempts to experiment with magic often result in transforming dragons into these hellish creatures. They are extremely dangerous, and will mindlessly kill any living creature without regard to friend or foe.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Xerlfea was a sweet Pink dragon, who would care and incubate for eggs and do her best to keep them alive. Dragons would go to Xerlfea for advice as she once was an immensely well-spirited and wise dragon. However, on one Halloween night a sacrificing took place. She was not quick enough to run away amongst all the dragons' panic, as Xerlfea was unfortunately weaker and frailer than her peers. She was caught under a knife and slit up only to be attempted to be revived later. The raid was an effort to create zombie dragons out of a very morbid desire. Xerlfea was one of the unlucky two—not only to be killed upon many others, but to be brought back as a disgusting walking sculpture of stringy flesh and nauseating red and black rot. The gentle and intelligent dragon she once was clearly wiped clean. She now wanders away from her original clan aimlessly, only to occasionally attack others.
