Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iksudo is famous amongst the dragons of Kaoru's Cave, for he is from the Soul Family. In Kaoru's Cave he is the only pure descendent from the Pink and Ice dragons that make up the Soul Family. He has chosen a lovely Nebula as his mate and they have many offspring, all of which they love very much. Iksudo is a dragon who prefers body language over telepathy, and he likes reading ancient tales of dragons to learn what they used to be like. He is quite proud of his lineage and how much his offspring are worth, but nowadays he is quite careful who gets to have his offspring due to the fact that one of them was turned into a Vampire. He wishes that never to happen again.
