Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While he often messes things up immeasurably, Fitzy's heart is certainly in the right place. It's almost like he's some sort of catalyst for chaos; imagine that!

He can be interchangeably moony and moody, and quite a number of others tend to refer to him as "that stubborn, cranky man" which he stubbornly and crankily refutes. He isn't particularly fond of his reputation and certainly makes efforts to change things, though it seems he always ends up returning to his irascible roots.

Despite all of this, however, he is loyal to a fault and has a difficult time criticising the actions of those he loves—unless he is personally affronted by them. Then, unfortunately, he has no issue (though also takes no pleasure) in loudly voicing his opposition to whatever they did to annoy him. Usually these 'issues' are things that have nothing to do with him whatsoever, and it takes him time to realise how much of a stupendous, stubborn, cranky fool he can be before apologising sincerely.
