Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

The mortal enemy of I Eat Souls, I'm Melting got his name from his attempt to run away from his destiny and also the murderous flamingo wyvrens that wanted to eat him. He found himself stuck in a desert, which for a while was preferable to being stuck in a pink dragon's dessert. However, eventually the heat began to take its toll on the poor cheese dragon, and he had no choice but to settle into a cave with the group of dragons that lived there, although some of them were flamingo dragons. I'm Melting is still occasionally nibbled on, but most of the time his friends are able to protect him.
