Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon is as intelligent as he is insane...and also happens to be a very vengeful lich. Once the tyrant emperor of a large kingdom, he used powerful necromancy to enslave murdered subjects, a hellish practice that turned many of his people against him. As such, he soon found himself at the receiving end of a murder, but it was then that things went most wrong. The rebels found the idea of making the dead villain their servant most gratifying, and as such, turned their own necromancy against him. But the spell was cast too soon, trapping his soul within his body and forming a most wrathful lich rather than a docile servant. Swiftly dispatching of those who had condemned him to such a macabre fate, he now thinks of nothing but revenge, slowly raising his undead army and dreaming of the day all will be made to suffer as he has, trapped in the misery of a living death.
