Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nobody really knows why the Brackenridge Aerie's founder even bothered to give this stone dragon the surname 'Brackenridge,' considering how awful the rest of the poor sap's name is.  It's been speculated that there was a period of time when there were nearly three males to one female in Brackenridge Aerie, and that the founder spent a lot of that time yelling and waving her arms around a lot, but the dragons just point at the founder and make twirly "she's crazy" motions when asked, and won't elaborate any further.

STOP GENDERING MALE, ARE YOU KIDDING ME and I SAID STOP are all the unfortunate products of that time, though they seem to take it in stride and nobody in the cave actually refers to them by the name the founder gave them.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME is called Gneiss by the others.
