Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Magmaclaw lives deep in the tunnels of Hummingclan's cave, near a pool of lava.  She sometimes ventures up to get food for herself, in which she is welcomed by her other clan-mates, for they don't see her very often.  Magmaclaw cries out in loneliness often, because, well...  It can get lonely sleeping most of the time alone.  But Firebreath sometimes goes down to comfort her, since he can withstand the heat better than the other dragons.
