Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kousairikuritarusora (Dazzling Sky) is a bit flighty, but she's so good-natured that no one minds. She's gorgeous, and knows it; she'll deliberately twist and preen in flight when the sun is out to show off the way the light ripples along her hide. On the other hand (and true to her breed) she simply loves to fly. She and Aoi no Sora sky dance together often, weaving around in displays of skill and joy. Siri (which is what most call her since her proper name is a proper mouthful) also considers herself something of an alchemist; she enjoys mucking about with chemicals when her human lets her. She can't actually do anything herself, mind, due to the whole no-hands thing, but it gives her a chance to boss around her human which she finds delightful, much to his dismay (and apprehension, as her experiments don't always end well... Though she only blew him up once, and she blames him entirely for this, as she TOLD him that he needed to be careful when mixing the two reagents).
