Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This tiny dragon's heart is so large that it can only be matched in greatness by her voice, which is most certainly a force to be reckoned with. As gifted as a songbird, she can flick through so many vocal ranges so quickly that she's something of a one-man choir, thus giving her her name. Her adoptive mother, Chorus, is similarly talented, and the two make a lovely duet, singing carols and giving performances to raise money for the needy.
