Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Obsidrius MoltenBack (after the gemstone: Obsidian) joined the clan cave as its 218th dragon, only the second male of his species to become a part of the clan. He is a strong and confident dragon who has taken his place among his brethren with pride and conviction, becoming the molten back bone of his kind, and to the rest of the clan as well. Although he has yet to express any specific interest, many of the females seem to compete for his affections, knowing without doubt that he would more than make a suitable mate and father. He has quickly risen in importance and rank, and the other clan dragons seem to look up to him, affording him a great deal of respect and honor. The Clan Mother worries that such a burden may one day break even his impressive back, shouldering the weight of so many without complaint or even consideration. He seems to disregard the concerns, however, and forges on head strong and secure that his role serves the needs of the masses, not the needs of one alone.
