Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Tucked away in a valley hidden by mountains one can find a garden. Inside it is like a fairy tale, and flowers reach to the sky, dwarfing even the tallest creatures to enter. Everything from violets, to orchids can be found there, and even some flowers unidentifiable outside the valley. This is all the work of Pattia. Once she reached adulthood she abandoned an ordinary life and came here to start her garden. She began it with love, treating each seed like a sentient being to be cherished. Her flowers grew tall, strong, and into something magical. But with this extreme love for her dear flowers Pattia grew possessive. She piled stones to block the entrances she once welcomed others to her garden, she destroyed the pathways that lead up the mountain so that none could ruin her work. Now, though her flowers still stand in splendor about the valley, they hang their petaled heads, for Pattia no longer spends her days tending to them, instead she makes sure their beauty will never be shared.
