Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dorell is very opinionated and is quite a fighter for a pink dragon.  She is very skilled in the combat of tooth-and-claw although she follows the rules of chivalry and honor in any battle.  Dorell is confident in her skills and can be seen as arrogant by other dragons.  She relies on no one and is content to forge her own way in the world.
