Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

An unusually large prize dragon, this female lives in thick forests, roaming lazily about in search of succulent vegetation to eat. Her presence has not gone unnoticed by hunters, who describe their encounters with her as seeing a glimmer of gold in the far distance; she is always quick to take wing before they can get closer, however, as she's none too keen on finding out firsthand whether or not the locals like dragons.
