Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Frozen Whiskey's name is a combination of his parents' names, Ice Chilled Whiskey and Frozen Dreams. He comes of royalty, but doesn't think much of his beautiful lineage.The way he sees it is one dragon family (his) being "better" than other families. "It isn't fair," he tells his parents. But, as always, they tell him to suck it up and embrace it. He's royalty for Lunaris's sake! He's still doubtful about it, though. Frozen Whiskey is the closest thing to a friend that Lunaris's Memory has. Frozen tries to get Lunaris to be social and actually have a conversation, but even though Frozen's a friend, Lunaris becomes cold and blocks him out. Since he comes from royal Ice lineage and is quite handsome, Frozen Whiskey is sought after by many females. He rejects their advances, however, and prefers to hang with Lunar.
