Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Beautiful Child, Priestess" in Japanese. She is one of the many daughters of Kentaro and Kiyomi, and was raised alongside her siblings Kisaki, Onibi, Madoka, and Koutei. She is one of the sweetest and most beautiful dragons in the whole colony. Miko and her siblings make up a wonderful singing group called Utsukushii Oto. The whole colony loves to hear them sing. Miko sings in an angelic soprano. As well as singing, Miko is also a talented artist, using brushes and paints made of various plant parts. She met Benjiro when he happened to walk in the middle of the scene she was painting. It was a beautiful lake scene under a full moon. Miko decided to just add the handsome dragon to her picture, and it came out beautiful. She decided to show it to him, so she went and introduced herself. It was love at first sight. They started going out soon after, and then they quickly became mates. They love each other so much, and they always will.
