Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

While it isn't uncommon for cheeses to be cultivated in the cool, damp environments of caves, this dragon is... not exactly the typical type of cave cheese one might expect. Many an adventurer have plunged into the deepest caves, in search of treasure and strange beasts, only to come face-to-face with this bulging-eyed feral cheese. While the sight of a cheese-beast in the middle of a cavern has caused many to laugh, its ferocious nose-biting techniques are much less funny, and have caused a great deal of spelunkers a great deal of pain.
