Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Copper is a large dragon with broad back and huge wings. Copper was hatched on a sunny day, in the middle of a big cave filled with other Tinsels. Copper has always been a shy little bronze Tinsel. To make things worse she has a group of friends who used to tease her about being the lower of the kind of tinsels; that is, until Copper knocked the older one, a gold Tinsel, out. They respect her now. Copper has always been shy but in battle, her skills come out. She is a great war dragon. If she had a human rider they would be the best team around for battles.
