Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Even though Paprika Salina is raised by foster parents of another species (guardian dragons) she still has an awful temper. She will even use violence to anybody that disagrees with her or stands in her way and tends to be manipulative. However Paprika is confident, brave, headstrong, social, cheerful, sassy, optimistic, compassionate and very dedicated towards her clan. She considers her clan family even though she is not blood related towards a lot of dragons in her clan. Paprika is very interested in dragons with a lineage because she is cave-born, she thinks that dragons with a lineage have more background or have something special. No one really knows why she thinks that. Because Paprika is hardly scared of anything and is so persistent, she tends to succeed in anything she wants to achieve. Paprika is very close friends with clan members Naolie Cook, Nanda Castle, Sapphire Desertflower and Hera Ross. Paprika has very pronounced and characteristic purple coloured eyes and wings.
