Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Reiketsu is only seen at night. During daylight hours, his spot in the cave is empty and none of the other dragons seem to have a clue as to where he is. But as soon as the sun sets, he just... shows up. At midnight, the male escapes from Hiara's cave and vanishes, only to appear at the top of any surrounding hill. He just stands there, his usually ink black fur shining white in the moonlight. Rei seems to radiate an eerie glow that makes a shiver run down your spine if you get too close. However, other than his odd quirks, Reiketsu is normal. He eats, fights fircely, and interacts with other dragons. But he's never been seen sleeping...
