Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

No one knows what happened to Golden Shamrock. One day, they noticed that he was just no longer..."there". He looks at raindear his old friend, and his expression seems to say, "I think I remember you." His thoughts, for those who try to hear them, seem to consist of mumbles or mutters, with, perhaps, a "Why am I outside" or "What was I doing" mixed in.

Once a couple of hatchlings with the thoughtless cruelty of the young led him into the forest saying, "Come see what we found!", "Come look!" Then they ran back to the cave laughing. When Polar Ice realized Golden Shamrock was missing, he searched, finding him in a small clearing, unable to find the path back to the cave. Now, the adults are more watchful of Golden Shamrock, and the young are asked to help so that they will be sympathetic.

While Golden Shamrock stays near the cave, usually going no farther than the sunny gardens, Polar Ice and the other healers and magic users study him, trying to find what is wrong and how to cure it.
