Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Tangerine-Mango is one of the "Neverland Hatchlings" of Rekha Cave, having encountered a strange, magical field within the cave shortly after she hatched.  With her powerful magic, she's declared herself the daytime guardian of the group, and mighty hunter of all kinds of small prey to feed everybody.  Her best friend is Ebony, an eternally-young black dragon.  The two of them hold regular magic-off contests.
