Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Onyxreah Mystal DarkGlow (Clan Mystal) was born the 172nd Clan Mystal dragon, another member from pure clan parentage. While she retains some of her fathers radiant glow, the darkness of her species often proves more apparent in her personality and general disposition. She seems to possess a warrior's spirit, and is filled with an unending supply of vigor for fighting. She is quick tempered, and jumps to action faster than some can even blink. This behavior has, on more than one occasion, caused her trouble with the clan elders, as well as many of her clan mates. To her credit, she accepts their judgments and punishments without complaint, but refuses to change her ways to suit their wishes. Although she has excellent magical talent, she prefers physical actions before any other. She spends much of her time soaring through the night skies, searching for potential opponents. When none can be found, she hunts small game for herself and others of the clan.
