This is a baby chick, not a dragon. So what was it doing in the dragons’ cave?

Charlie Crews is a deteggtive of the Chick Police Force (CPF). Falsely accused of triple murder, Crews was convicted to a life sentence and served twelve years in Pelican Cave State Battery Farm before his innocence was proven by a new process of comparing Dragon's Neural Affliction or DNA. Crews received a compensation of unknown quantity—some say five million, others say fifty million pieces of corn—and returned to serve in the Force.

Crews is determined to investigate the identity of those who framed him for the crime. Battery made him weird, though. Crews has an obsession with fruit (battery inmates never received fresh fruit) and makes strange remarks that sometimes are zen—and sometimes not. Crews thinks he doesn't talk differently than anyone else does. Maybe, sometimes, he does not say things that other people don't not say, but most other people don't not say the same things he does.
