Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Over the centuries, the storms that sweep his world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of their world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. To stabilize the weather and prevent disaster, several Storm Dragons formed what is known as the Great Weather Manipulation Project (GWMP). Fashan is rather lazy the vast majority of the time. He rarely will stir himself from his nest of cozy blankets and feathers except for when a storm threatens his Cave. As a senior member of GWMP, Fashan believes it is the duty of the young to take care of the vast majority of storms unless one is directly threatening him. Then Fashan will stir out of his cozy corner and show all the young dragons just what a master Controller can do when he puts his mind to it.
