Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Darocamast, known to be quite hot-headed and an impulsive thinker, is notorious for getting into trouble.  He spends most of his time picking fights with dragons that are stronger and more experienced than he, and he usually get's his tail whipped.  Although he is young, he has many scars from duals that he has both won and lost.  He is a cocky, disputatious, provocative black dragon, and doesn't know when to take a break.  However, when he makes his mind up about something, he does everything he can to fulfill it.  And when the time is needed, he is there for his fellow allied dragons, no matter what their breed may be.  Darocamast is very good at keeping secrets, but does not care to share his feelings with others.  He is often full of anger, for he keeps his feelings bottled up.  But, one day, he will grow into a magnificent fighter and protector to all of his race.
