White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gareth is a quiet, steady dragon. He has inherited a sense of duty from his Guardian father Temperance, and the gift of healing from his mother Lilya. He trains other healers, and takes care of thevinyard's hatchlings, when they do themselves a mischief, and takes his work (and sometimes himself) quite seriously. It was a huge surprise to everyone at thevinyard when he and Granadilla, the exotic daughter of Marcella and Tenacio, declared themselves life-mates.
