Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

AngelSoul is a very perky and loving dragon. She never wants to see anyone in low spirits, especially around the time of Christmas! That is why she has many friends around the cave and is very seldom seen alone. The moment a new dragon is brought to the cave she is there, shaking his or her hand and introducing herself. Not many dragons can stand to not be her friend and even if she is rejected she continues to great them with a smiling face. Her favorite hobbies are to sing Christmas carols and decorate the cave with beautiful flowers, shells, pebbles, and even carved bones. This annoys some of the dragons when they find their sleeping area surrounded by daffodils, her favorite flower, but she continues to try to make the cave a beautiful place.
