Hailing from northern climes, the Boreal Dragon prefers cold, snowy weather. A very secretive and solitary breed, they rarely descend from the mountains they call home. The breed communicates over long distances via loud, low-pitched bellows. These calls often cause avalanches at the peril of any creature unable to run or fly away to safety.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Kobutsu doesn't care much for the presence of other dragons, but when the snow falls lightly and the sun shines clear over the alpine mountains, he will build a whole entourage of snow-dragons to keep him company. Sometimes he will even hold sporting events for his snow-dragon friends to watch, including competitions for things like which ice block will slide down a hill the fastest or which icicle can defrost the slowest when left out in the sun. Kobutsu amuses himself by mentally narrating all the events as well, sometimes even naming the inanimate contestants, and enjoys his unusual hobby freely because no one is around to judge him on it.
