Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ever since he arrived, given to the Cave Mother as an orphaned hatchling in need of safety, the flock knew this dragon was something special.

A noble being, he is a firm believer in the code of chivalry, specifically that those dragons who swear loyalty to him and his chapter, The Saints of the Blade, should be honourable, courteous, brave and, above all, merciful. As a result, when his fair leadership is combined with his regal bearing and calm wisdom, all the flock know he is a dragon to be respected.

Gwyndolin does not agree.

In truth, he considers himself unworthy of the attention, especially when compared to Chapter leaders like his close friend, Lorna, and father figure, Peta. Whenever he can, he withdraws from public view, spending as much time with his loved ones as possible.

While he is calm, injuring someone he cares for is tantamount to suicide. The Detested One shall soon discover that targeting the Twin Princes is a foolish choice, for now Gwyn's Saints are after him...
