Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fantastic Night is a female black dragon. She is different from all the other black dragons, both in appearance and personality. Fantastic Night's best friend is Mintmere, a female mint dragon that Night once tried to eat. Fortunately a magi dragon named Burnland managed to stop Mintmere from becoming a snack. Both Fantastic Night and Mintmere decided to put the past behind them and not mention that experience.

Fantastic Night is a good huntress, but she never hunts for pleasure. When she's not hunting for the flight, Fantastic Night can be seen soaring through the clouds with Mintmere on her back. Fantastic Night also likes to spend time with her mate and children.

Fantastic Night is quite gentle for a black dragon, probably as a result of spending so much time with Mintmere. However, if anyone she loves is in danger, Fantastic Night will defend them at any cost. That being said, she also makes a deadly enemy.
