Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This Brute Dragon is a vicious and bad-tempered beast who fiercely claims his territory in a shallow cave up high in a cliff face, overlooking his herd's main den. His mate is Coadelia, whom he protects just as viciously as he does his home. He has declared complete dominance over any Brute Dragons in his herd and likes to make sure they sleep and live in an area separate from the rest of the dragons--he himself rarely leaves the area except to hunt or find water when the provided mountain stream runs too low, but never, ever, ever, to talk to dragons outside his species (the only exception is to duel or to talk to the herd leader, Zemimorth). He dislikes most other dragons, as well the idea of any of his kind socializing with others outside of their mini-herd-within-a-herd.
