Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fadingcrimson mostly tries to avoid battle with other clans. Instead, he likes to spend his time with Purplehearts in the nest and hatchling cave. While Purplehearts is off training the young dragons, Fadingcrimson stays behind to keep watch on the eggs and keep them warm and also decides on what eggs to keep and which ones should go. He used to refuse the clan's females, but since Pinkcheeks hatched, and aside from their lighter and darker pink colors, Fadingcrimson has felt a joy in the center of his chest. Every day, him and Pinkcheeks get closer and closer together.
