Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He stole his name from his own mother. Crueler than his own mother, who once shared the same name, Holy Dustflier abuses his magic and strength to his own advantage. He tested his power wrestling with several dragons—including a water, storm, daydream, black, pink, sunset, and more. None lived to tell the tale, and Holy Dustflier created many orphans in the process. His ultimate goal was to challenge and defeat his mother. His first few attempts failed.

Then another dragon, now named Fear Embodied, came into being and Dustflier felt a deep connection. Together, both dragons silenced their beautiful sunset mother forever more. Without any opposition, these two black dragons are now the stealthy assassins of the Land, holding no sympathy or kindness for any other.
