Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Poppant is known to be very generous to others, though in a very bizarre way. He carries with him a large, bulky box full of treats and oddities. When he is startled, he will automatically chuck something from the box at the intruder, distracting them and allowing him to escape. Sometimes the intruder is a vicious competitor dragon that got a piece of cake throw at it head, and sometimes it is a tiny hatchling that got beaned by a toaster. Either way, everyone is bewildered when Poppant reflexively throws things at them. Some dragons take advantage of Poppant and his bottomless box, for they will purposely frighten him so they could have a chance to get some candy. Unfortunately for them, this has lead to instances of them getting random sharp objects stuck in their skin.
