Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Tenebris is a very regal dragon, he is always confident and collected. He is slow to anger and prefers to think things through logically rather than fight, values which make him very good at calming tempers and negotiating in council meetings. He spends most of his time pondering philosophy and studying the stars but despite his gentle manner he is strong and can fight valiantly when he must. His name means dark-blue in Latin.
