Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

LateVioletNight is a Purple Dragon hatchling who loves her father, the Shadow Walker Dragon LateNightWalker. He stays in the shadows, like all of his kind, only being corporeal for a few seconds at a time. But LateNightWalker loves his daughter LateVioletNight, and he always greats her with a solid dragon hug every time he sees her. He makes sure to see his daughter every week, even though he can walk through planes of reality. LateVioletNight is sad when her dad goes away, but she spends her time playing with other hatchlings so she isn't lonely.
