Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Golden Elegence was just and egg its parents had somehow let it roll out of its cave. After the parents had searched for the egg for many days and nights, they finally gave up and went back home thinking the egg was dead. however the egg had not died and later hatched on the night of christmas eve. When it hatched there were many decorated trees around Golden Elegence. Golden Elegence was very happy when she saw the colors so she decided she wanted to look like that too and make everyone else around her happy also. So she painted herself with some of the natural herbs she finds and now she prances around the fields at christmas making everyone happy!
