Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lone Heart was given to the tribe as an egg by a monk-like red dragon who denied any responsibility for it. Not entirely believing the red, Soy took the egg with a wry smile and handed it to Soot Spider and Mama Flo with the instructions to care for it until something could be done. But before long the egg had hatched into an adorable magi and everyone had settled with the idea that he was to stay. One day, a lovely looking valentine and a magnificent magi showed up at the cave entrance, searching for their long-lost child. Sadly, because they knew the couple had to be the parents, the dragons that had gotten quite attached to the magi let him go home. Lone Heart thrived in the new settings and grew up into an exceptional dragon, but he could never get the memories of his playful childhood family out of his head. Wishing to see his old adoptive family once more, he has taken to wandering the wilderness with only himself and decades-old memories, searching for that dusty old cave.
