Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Glacius is a dragon that is considered overly familiar with the habits of ice and snow. He has seen it his whole life, and as such, has grown to know it better than he knows the winding tunnels of his own ice-caves. He knows that the silence is deeper near it because the snow absorbs and muffles sound, he knows ice reflects it like a mirror. He knows soft, newly formed ice from glacier ice, and snow-melt from river water. He knows how to read the age, the trustworthiness of ice, and how to tell if snow is covering land, water, or a chasm.

He knows all these things, just as Orion understands the temperament of a volcano, and Gaia sees the currents of storms. He is infinitely wise in that way, as are his fellow Elementals, and though his knowledge has grown to the point of becoming burdensome, he would never surrender it.

After all, without his ice, his snow, his sheer cold—what is he then, but another insignificant beast, without consequence or value.
