Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Red Cloud in Morning loves to play near the sea mostly.  He lives near a little fishing village, eating fish.  He mostly takes to the air early in the mornings and evenings so his skin does not burn from the intensity of the city.  He thinks of the village as an extended family and tries to protect them as much as possible.  His most useful way of doing so is to keep an eye on the weather and warn the sailors of possible danger.  If they hear his call at dawn as the sun rises with the clouds being blood red they know to stay close to shore.  If in the evening they know they can range out for larger catches.  Leading to the saying "Red cloud at morning, sailors take warning, red clouds at night sailors delight."
