Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to bask and play in the sunshine.

It’s gotten slightly bigger and its colors have changed! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Mirror loves to watch the Spitfire dragons create glass in the desert sands and attempted to do so himself. He actually managed to create a fairly large sheet one day, but in his excitement he fell into it, shattering the glass instantly. Since then, he has not managed to pull it off, but he keeps trying. In the meantime, the Spitfire dragons offer him small pieces of their own glass for him to keep.
