When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Magick Aqua" was not the smartest of water dragons, but then he was born near a lake which made it impossible for him to get to places where he could learn a lot. Being simple minded and not knowing any more than he did, he did enjoy visiting the humans when they came to the lake. He would try to share his food, but couldn't understand why the human's always took off so quickly; normally screaming. He would never give up on the humans because he just knew that one day one of them might not run screaming. He wasn't lonely because he didn't know how to be, and he always found entertainment in everything, as he was easily amused by everything.
